Czech for foreigners
The Department of Foreign Languages has taught Czech for foreigners (VCJ/CFF) for several years. This course is intended for all foreign students and employees of the Faculty of Science. It is taught in English and focuses on everyday conversations to support beginner users of Czech (level A0).
Our offer has been enriched with an intensive semester course (VCJ/CCS) of Czech. This intensive course is intended for foreign students who are enrolled in a Czech study programme and are obliged to prove their language competence in Czech. The course develops all language skills: reading and listening comprehension, speaking, and writing. It broadens vocabulary knowledge and helps students to practise necessary grammatical features.
